This is the story I've been waiting for all my life, and its name is Malcolm Kyle Preston Logan Saint. Don’t be fooled by that last name though. There’s nothing holy about the man except the hell his parties raise. The hottest entrepreneur Chicago has ever known, he’s a man’s man with too much money to spend and too many women vying for his attention.
Mysterious. Privileged. Legendary. His entire life he’s been surrounded by the press as they dig for tidbits to see if his fairytale life is for real or all mirrors and social media lies. Since he hit the scene, his secrets have been his and his alone to keep. And that’s where I come in.
Assigned to investigate Saint and reveal his elusive personality, I’m determined to make him the story that will change my career.
But I never imagined he would change my life. Bit by bit, I start to wonder if I'm the one discovering him...or if he's uncovering me.
What happens when the man they call Saint, makes you want to sin?
Noemi - The first thing I have to say is DIBS DIBS DIBS DIBS AND DIBS!!!!!!!
Jillian - I for one was super excited to read this book since I love Katy Evans books.
Saffron - Crap! I didn't type my dibs in fast enough
Jillian - I knew she was going to call dibs so there was no use in even trying.
Saffron - I guess. She did finish the book before us after all.
Noemi - Well I did finish it in one sitting lol
Jillian - As always lol
Noemi - Then I started my campout at Katy's front door for the next book lol
Jillian - How in the heck are we supposed to wait until July?!
Noemi - I have no clue!!! Maybe if we send wine and chocolate we can get it sooner????
Saffron - Yes, that cliffhanger left me wanting a lot more. But it really wasn't bad as far as those cliffhangers go! I just want to know what he does!
Jillian - I NEED TO KNOW NOW!
Noemi - There needed to be a warning about that cliffhanger. I swear my kindle almost met its end.
Jillian - So let's talk about the Manwhore himself.
Saffron - I wasn't completely sold on Malcolm in the beginning. Since he was one of those types who was used to getting what he wanted.
Jillian - Can he want me please?
Noemi - MINE!!!!
Jillian - Fine! Lol. We all know Remy is still mine so it's alright.
Noemi - LOL
Saffron - Okay, besides the fact you want him, what did you actually like about him?
Jillian - He was such a surprise the more we learned more about him. A good surprise too.
Noemi - Well in the beginning isn't it the allure of having the man who can have anything he wants that people are drawn to. But then finding out here is so much more to him.
Jillian - Rachel was so driven to get the story for her boss to expose Saint but she couldn't help but fall for him. I can't really say I blame her though.
Noemi - Well it was also her big break. And I have to say that I love that their first meeting was out of the box.
Jillian - I did not make it easy for her that's for sure.
Saffron - I definitely see why she was driven to learn more about him and to keep her distance from him. But her damn roommate messed with her head more than he ever could.
Jillian - I wanted to smack the crap out of Gina!!!
Noemi - Am I the only one who wanted to toss Gina out a window???
Saffron - Was that her name? I used different words for her. Much more colorful words.
Jillian - I thought she was going to turn out to be a lesbian the way she acted with Rachel.
Saffron - I remember you saying that. *snort* We'll find out what her deal is, right? Although, if she doesn't have a big role in the next book, that would be so much better, right? I got mad at Rachel quite a bit for listening to her.
Jillian - I would not be saddened lol. I know it was hard because she was always there with her on everything. As a friend wouldn't you want someone to fall in love even if there is a chance of getting your heart broken?
Noemi - Yes, but with Gina she had her heart broken and was extremity bitter about it. It just came across like if she wasn't happy than no one was allowed to be.
Jillian - Which is crazy! I understand her being bitter but not everyone else has to be.
Saffron - Which is why she drove me nuts whenever she was around Rachel!!! Maybe we should talk about Malcolm's friends?
Jillian - I LOVED them! They were always down to have a good time and they treated Rachel like one of them from the beginning.
Noemi - Oh they could see that Saint was over the moon for Rachel from the start.
Saffron - They were sneaky as hell those two.
Jillian - Sneaky but fun.
Saffron - I did appreciate the friendship that those three guys had.
Jillian - Saint needed those two in his life.
Noemi - They knew Saint's complete history. I couldn't believe his childhood.
Jillian - He didn't have the best family life. His father was an asshole!
Saffron - His father stayed an asshole. He'll probably die an asshole too. I definitely give Malcolm credit for using what he was given to build up his own name.
Jillian - He worked hard to become the man he is and to be a respected businessman. Even with the reputation of being a Manwhore he was still highly respected.
Noemi - I agree. He could have gone down the playboy route but he really proved what he was made of.
Saffron - I want one of his shirts.
Noemi - I'll check his closets lol
Jillian - I want to go on his Yacht.
Saffron - I mean, if I can't get dibs, I can at least get a shirt, right?
Noemi - I'd be happy to provide you with a bunch ha ha
Jillian - "I interviewed Malcom Saint and all I got was this shirt"
Saffron - Yo, Katy needs to make some shirts like that!
Noemi - YES!
Jillian - The ladies would buy those like crazy!
Saffron - Or we need to. I say we call dibs on that quote!
Jillian - Dibs!
Noemi - So, I have to bring up when the shit hits the fan. I didn't see that coming.
Saffron - I really didn't see it coming either. She messed with the wrong people.
Jillian - I didn't see it going down like that that's for sure.
Noemi - There was a stream of colorful language coming from me at that part.
Jillian - If I remember correctly I let out a "That Bitch!!"
Saffron - I was shaking my head the whole time. And turning pages super-fast.
Noemi - Ok ladies, the wine bottles are empty so it's time to sum things up.
Saffron - I am really looking forward to Manwhore+1. I have some ideas with how I'd like the story to end. Hahaha! I really really liked this read and gave it 5 stars.
Jillian - For me this book did not disappoint. I had high hopes going into it and it was such a good book. I'm always a huge Katy Evans fan and she keeps writing awesome books. I cannot wait for the next book, I need it now! Saying that I give this book 5 HUGE Stars!
Noemi - Katy has always been one sit reads for me. She does such an amazing job of writing characters that you just enthralled with. I also have to say that as a Chicago girl I have to give her a big hug and some Garrett's popcorn for getting locations in Chicago spot on! Its 5 stars from me.
